SMOOSH JUICE
Tuesday Magic Item – Actor’s Mask

Gollaon watched from the wall as the distant actor posed and gestured, not more than a dozen paces from the enemy soldiers spreading out to encircle the city.
Voddick made notes as Gollaon made his best guesses about the information the actor was conveying. “A brave fellow,” he said.
“The soldiers likely have no clue that he is passing information to us,” said Gollaon. “They may think he is rehearsing.”
“Still, it is a risk.”
“Truth.”
Actor’s Mask
These items are large masks, enough to fully hide the face of the wearer, that have an exaggerated countenance upon them. They are used by comedians and choruses to frame and display the emotional state of the character or scene. Their advantage over the usual masks used for such is that the wearer can chance the expression as will. The mask, while heavy, is surprisingly comfortable to wear and does not impede the wearer’s vision.
Used as part of an appropriate performance, it gives the wearer a +5 competence bonus on perform checks.
Additionally, when the wearer is trying to convey broad concepts by miming and non-verbal communication, it provides a +5 competence bonus to any checks required to do so.

Notes: A fitting item for April foolishness and one that I am sure players can get themselves into a great deal of trouble with.
