SMOOSH JUICE
Jozish Jonz, Visse Entertainer (A to Z, J)

Back to fantasy! How about a different sort of entertainer, as everyone likes to be entertained right?
Jozish Jonz, Visse Entertainer
Quote: Think I can’t juggle seven items? How much do you want to bet on that, bigjob?
If you think you can find the lady, you will win this shiny silver coin. Just wager six copper coins and you can win big!
Description: As you would expect, Jozish is not very tall, he is perhaps marginally taller than you average Visse, but that is short compared to most people. He is also rather slender, spending too much time living by his wits to get plump. His skin is tanned, his hair a sun-bleeched blond, and his eyes a sparkling blue. He favors colorful, often garishly so, clothing, as he says, “I may be small but I can make a big impression.”
He is friendly and cheerful, everyone’s friend. But he is also skilled at reading the room and will be happy to send a few barbs at the people on the outs with the majority of the crowd, nothing too cruel, those he saves for proper villains.
When Jozish is really just on his own, he reverts to plain and simple clothing. He occasionally just broods and smokes his pipe, letting his dark thoughts float away with the smoke.
Background: Jozish grew up in the homelands of the Visse but he was always a clown and entertainer. To the disappointment of his parents, he distained work in the bureaucracy, instead decamping with a troupe of wandering players.
Since then, Jozish has traveled far and wide, mastering new skills and techniques. He works with various groups of entertainers, sometimes for weeks or months, but he is often found travelling alone.
Presenting this Character: Jozish is a friendly and apparently happy-go-lucky fellow. happy to show off his skills and talents. But he is very much a supporter of the poor and downtrodden, happy to turn his wits and talents against those who are cruel or tyrannical (while recognizing the risks of doing so).
Visse fill the same niche as halflings and hobbits do in other fantasy worlds.
